Based on pharmacology and the theories of traditional Chinese medicine, HDB has classified all herbs and sorted the extracts and fractionated samples into twelve therapeutic focused libraries that facilitate the screening for various interests. The number of samples in each focused library ranges from eight hundred to up to two thousands. Ideally, they can be used for drug targets with well-established disease mechanism.
