| HD Biosciences has provided updates on the progress of the following business operations. Firstly, the company has successfully completed phase 1 of the development plan with Organon pharmaceutical; all the projects in phase 1 were signed off recently. The phase 2 projects are on the development track. Secondly, the company has signed agreements with two other leading pharmaceutical companies to provide them with discovery services in assay development and structure activity relationship research. Thirdly, the construction of the company's new research facility is nearing completion. This includes a new state-of-the-art cell culture facility, a screening facility equipped with Perkin Elmer HTS systems, and modern laboratories for molecular and cell biology. "Our prospects for the year ahead are excellent as the company continues to improve on both technology and business fronts. The company intends to capitalize fully on opportunities emerging from the globalization of drug discovery R&D," said Dr. Xuehai Tan, CEO and president of the company. |
