Vice President, R&D
Job Description:
Provide strategic, managerial, and scientific leadership in the areas of drug development, including Molecular biology, Assay development, Drug screening, SAR and ADME research, etc.
Participate as an active member of the Company Senior Management Team.
Be responsible for strategy and implementation of activities, and is ultimately responsible for the quality of the work and its interpretation.
Be responsible for coordination of functional area responsibilities in the context of matrix project team environment.
Position Requirements:
Ph.D. or advanced degree in biological or pharmaceutical related sciences.
More than 10 years experience in drug development/BioPharma industry.
Must have an outstanding record of successful research, including publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Demonstrated ability to guide groups through corporate change and growth.

Interactive and collaborative approach; expert influence and conflict resolution skills are a must.

The successful candidate must have a strategic orientation, while also ensuring that all tactical details are managed efficiently and effectively.

Job Description:
Provide professional and managerial leadership of preclinical pharmacology functions, including internal personnel and external (CRO and academic liaisons) relationships.
Lead preclinical pharmacology strategy development and implementation to achieve pipeline goals in a timely, efficient manner.
Design and manage preclinical pharmacology activities to support development programs.
Oversee and manage study guidelines and budges of the pharmacology group to ensure alignment with project plans and overall R&D budget targets.
Establish pharmacology goals, timelines, and deliverables, and further develop a growing preclinical pharmacology group into a highly-functional team.
Position Requirements:
Ph.D./MD in Pharmacology or related Life Sciences discipline.
Minimum of 2-6 years experience in a research-based pharmaceutical company in the field of preclinical pharmacology.
Must have an outstanding record of successful research, including publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Deep understanding of PK, PD, ADME, and Tox areas including experimental design, analysis, and regulatory compliance.
Strong scientific, leadership, verbal and written communication skills and be able to function optimally in a team-based/collaborative environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, biotech company environment.
Advanced prioritization and organizational skills that allow management of multiple responsibilities and tasks.
Job Description:
Design in-house PK/PD rodent studies and interpret the data.
Conduct PK/PD modeling analyses.
Oversee the conduct of non-human primate PK studies at contract research organizations.
Have familiarity with various bioanalytical techniques to measure drug substance and drug products in various biological matrices.
Support clinical studies in PK assessments.
Conduct population PK assessments.
Have knowledge of CTD and IMPD formats.
Author the DMPK section of regulatory documents.
Familiarity with liposomal delivery systems.
Position Requirements:
Ph.D in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics with emphasis in PK/PD relationships.
Minimum of at least 2-6 years experience in Discovery/Development supported pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics specifically in the pharmaceutical industry.
An overall understanding of the PK/PD relationships for drug delivery, and are knowledgeable in the requirements for regulatory submissions.
Must have an outstanding record of successful research, including publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Job Description:
Provide scientific leadership and expertise in the areas of Virology research, in vivo and vitro biology, assay development, HTS.
Works within a multi-disciplinary team of scientists to ensure successful delivery antiviral drug discovery and development programs.
Oversees the design and implementation of various cell-based antiviral assays and HTS.
Maintains a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories.
Contributes to developing new Research strategies.
Be responsible for the management and professional development of research group members.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
PhD or advanced degree in Virology or a related field.

Director/ Principle Scientist/Senior Scientists, Receptor and ion Channel Biology
Job Description:
The incumbent will be responsible for establishing pharmacological assays and screens to identify positive or negative modulators of cellular signaling pathways including surface receptors and ion channels.
Provide the scientific leadership for the development of cell-based assays involving calcium and membrane potential responses, fluorescence-based reporter genes, and other miniaturized assays for GPCR and ion channel targets.
Provide project leadership and deliver high quality data for the project teams.
Develop, optimize, and validate assay methods.
Coordinate with other project teams and related global functions.
Coach and develop junior team members within the team.
Position Requirements:
A PhD in the fields of pharmacology, molecular pharmacology, biochemistry, or cell biology.
Minimum of 2-5 years experience in a research-based pharmaceutical company.
Detailed knowledge of membrane receptors and ion channels, intracellular signaling pathways, functional cell based assays and related biochemical and pharmacological techniques.
Experience in HTS technologies (i.e., FLIPR, FP, ECL, MS) and patch clamp will be helpful.
Must have an outstanding record of successful research, including publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Provide scientific expertise and guidance.
Manage resources and activities to meet project and platform milestones.
Participate in global platform activities.
Business development specialist
Job Description:
Be informed of and analyze both the domestic and international biology and medicine industries.
Participate in establishing sales projects; maintain relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential clients.
Resolve customer issues/problems with R&D departments.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or above in related area.
Familiarity with a variety of biology and chemistry concepts, as well as sales management.
Sales experience in the field of biotechnology.
Familiarity with computer operation.
Good judgment and team spirit.
Good writing and English skills.
