Job Description:

- |
Be responsible for the establishment of MIC screening panels for gram+/- bacteria and lead screening for clients |
- |
Be responsible for the genetic characterization of drug-resistant strains |
- |
Lead other anti-bacterial assay transfer/assay development projects |
| - |
Be responsible for the team buildup and expansion |
| - |
Be responsible for ensuring deliverables with high quality at a fast turn around time |
|
|
Requirements:
|
|
- |
The candidate must have a master or Ph. D. in bacteriology or Microbiology with major work in bacteriology |
- |
Extensive experience in bacteriology, MIC screening with gram negative and gram positive bacterial strains, clinical isolates strains, genetic characterization of resistance-genes |
- |
Candidate with contact/access to clinical isolates is preferred |
- |
Experience in protein expression, ELISA, Western blot analysis, and other biochemical, molecular/cellular analysis methods will be considered as plus |
